Default Is this correct to Wire 2X H7's to the H4 Connection?

As above no wireing diagram for my light conversion on my bugeye, is it as easy as this??

Seems to simple..... As all the relays etc are befor the H4 connector??

Or is one H7 on with low ,and one H7 with high??

Does the H7 do both low and high?? It would need 3 pins like the H4 would it not...??

I'm a little confused....

Any help please....

Thanks
Scott

Default bulbs

a h7 bulb only has one filament so would only be dip beam and you would need another bulb for main beam as opposed to h4 which is dip and main beam combined
your drawing is showing 2 h7 in place of the existing h4
sorry correction the diagram is wrong should show wire from high beam to 1 of the bulbs and low beam wire to the other bulb and share the same earth for both bulbs

Thanks mate,

The headlights I have have 2 x H7 bulbs on each side as well as a sidelight.

Like this...

So one can be on low and one on high??

These are the lights...

( I've fixed the lens)
What side is what? as one side is kind of plain and the other has something inside( I take it one for low and one for high??)

Any help would be great....

Scott.

Question

Difficult to tell without seeing them illuminated. The inners are generally main beam, but that's NOT a hard and fast rule.

Can you wire one up temporarily, shine it on a wall about three metres away, and look at the beam pattern?

The dip unit should give an assymetric, (sp) pattern, so that, for example, when looked at on the wall, you ought to see a definite pattern like this:

\_____

That's assuming you have light units off a UK car, right hand drive?

The main beam unit will NOT produce that finger of light up the left hand side, as shown above, but a bright overall beam.

HTH, Alcazar
