HID Ballast location??
Hi, I'm fitting high & low HID's to WR1 in the next few days and was wondering where to locate ballast boxes. WR1 has fog/driving lights just to make things trickier. Grateful for info from anyone who's done this.

Hi Mike,
I have them on my classic (uk98). Got the drivers side bolted to two holes i drilled into the inner wing, i have previously removed the plastic duct and reonator box so it covers that hole. For the drivers side, took the headlight out, reversed the horn and screwed it flat infront of the battery, was fiddly to get it in at the right angle.
Mine don't run hot as it sometimes says in the instructions, they only get hot from the engine heat.
Hope this is of some help, also make sure you have a good earth on the ballasts as they flicker sometimes if not, i know this because one of mine flickers due to a shoddy earth point!!
