indicator pipes??
what is the little rubber pipe on the back of the indicators for?? or what is the hole that the rubber pipe is protecting? Ive just bought some crystal clears and they have it.??

...oh ok. its up high so cant be a drain!! unless they are supposed to fill right to the brim?!!!! pressuse i suppose with the rubber hose on it and bent down to stop water getting it?

Unlikely to be temperature vent but more chance of being a vent to atmosphere to reduce the chance of condensation forming from unequal temps / moistures.
Headlight units quite often have them as L-shaped tubes where the long bit points down - virtually stops water getting in but allows air "transfer."
