Question Changing Sidelights (bulbs) MY00

Newbie question !! (Classic UK turbo MY00)

I need to change a bulb in one of my side lights (the lights next to headlights). On other cars, I'm usually get to these through the engine bay. Am I right in assuming that on a Scooby, I have to take the wheel off and access it through a little hatch underneath the arch ??

I've never had to take a wheel off to change a bulb on a car !! - thought I'd better ask the question before I make an attempt !!

Thanks in advance.

Gingerbreadman.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Dead easy .... open the bonnet .... at the top of the sidelight unit is a single screw .... undo this and the unit should pop out (may need to be manouvered, but it will come out) .... take out the bulb holder and change the bulb .... reverse the process again!!

I saw that single screw, it looked too easy !!

Cheers RB5 69, I'm glad I asked the question before I went home and made a right c**t out of myself.

Thanks again !!

Apply a little grease to the ball socket when you put them back in though, as they can be right buggers to pull out again.
