You're welcome.
Good luck with the alignment, it's a *** to do if you follow the instructions.
For those who don't know, the Prodrive PIAA kit replaces the fog lights with driving ones. The lights are very good but the lights mount onto a plate which fastens to the car using the standard bolts. This hides the lamp's own mounting bolt so to adjust it you (should):
  • Fasten the lamp to the bracket finger tight.
  • Bolt the bracket to the car.
  • Move the light into alignment courtesy of the slack bolt.
  • Remove the bracket and lamp, hoping the lamp doesn't move.
  • Tighten the lamp mounting.
  • Replace the bracket and lamp.
  • Try the alignment and start again if it's not right.
What a terrible method. You try doing that on an open road.
The only alternative I've found is to remove the plastic wing shields to get at the lamp bolt under the arch. That's a bit easier - but not much.

John / Alex - I also have just bought a set of 2nd hand PIAAs for my MY99 UK Turbo, and being a bit of a Tech-novice, it looks a touch for me to attempt at the mo. Any chance of a copy of these instructions? Many thanks in advance. Dave.

hi mate,

try this.. http://www.chiark.co.uk/scooby/mod_piaa.asp

I wired mine into the std fog switch, so that I can choose to have them on or off with the full beam.. you will need an extra relay for this, if you struggle, drop me a PM, be happy to help..
