Default Headlight Glass Removal

Any ideas how i can remove the headlight glass and then rebond to avoid leaks ???? MY 00 What do i use to rebond ? Would Sikaflex work ????

If the bond is the same as an MY04 blob eye you should be able to do it by cooking it lightly in the oven.

Do a search on here for detango. I used the link off NASIOC and it works a treat. Just warm back up before screwing together and it should seal. I did mine 9 months ago and the've survived winter so I guess there OK

BE WARNED THO' THE NASIOC TEMPERATURES ARE IN FARENHEIT. UK OVENS ARE IN CELSIUS!

I found a temp of 100C worked fine
