Fuse for Dash Lights???

Fuse for Dash Lights???
I have a 93 Import wrx and the lights for the clocks and heater switches are all out.
Does anyone know where the fuse for this is??
Also the number plate lights have stopped working at the same time, is this related.
I have checked fuses under the bonnet and in the drivers footwell but they all seem ok.
Any help with this would be great.
Phil

Usually they are part of the sidelight circuit. You may find that there is a fuse for the left side and one for the right. There again having had the fun of Subaru electrics myself who knows what Subaru have done.

The rear lights are part of that circuit too?
Side lights
Rear lights
No. Plate lights & all dash illumination are part of the same circuit.
Ive got a similar problem but mine keeps blowing a fuse when lights are turn on, headlights are ok.
Check the fuse box (engine bay) & the drivers side foot well, If all your fuses are ok it more than likely a bad earth.
I will try to post a link later for a wiring diagram pdf, it may help you understand the circuit more.

Cheers for the replys guys,
Got it sorted in the end turns out that it was the aux fog light that was causing a short, has been in the bodyshop, think they had trapped a wire when putting it back together.
Trying to fix probs in sub zero temperatures is no fun...
