I'm trying to diagnose a fault with my passenger side elec window.

The motor will wind the window down but not up - as you can imagine its a bit of a nightmare requiring the door to be taken to bits to manually lift the glass back up by hand - so at the present the switch isn't connected to stop anyone putting the glass down.

I'm trying to fathom out just why it'll go down but not up. I'd always imagined it was a problem with the motor, but I saw on ebay an auction for an electric window relay (off a legacy) and wondered if that was my problem.

Why would a window work one way and not the other?

It's not the switch thats at fault as I've tried a few and its the same result each time.

Help very much appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem!!!!
Did you manage to sort it by yourself? I'm trying to find out the location of the window controller relay but without any luck so far.
