oil temp and presure guages
Would a set of electrical oil temp and press guages work on a scoob. There are from a VW Golf and i wondered if i could buy the senders for them so they would work on the scoob..??

Not VAG specific then? After-market?
If you can find out who sells 'em, or at a pinch, who imports 'em, have a go at them for senders. Once you have the senders, you should be OK, although you MAY need adaptors
As an example: I'm using Defis on a classic. The Boost gauge just fastened onto an unused nipple (ooh-err missus), on the intake manifold. The Oil Pressure gauge went in as a direct replacement for the OE oil pressure switch, (which is made redundant by the use of a decent o/p gauge), and the Oil Temperature gauge needed an adaptor (about £8 from Scoobymania), to allow it to screw into the tapping on top of No. 3 cylinder.
