Hi All,

Ive been having a few problems of late with the battery on my classic 00, I left the car over Christmas for just 4 days without starting it and the battery would not crank the car, it did work the CL and alarm though!!!

I have noticed for about the last month or so that the battery has been sounding a little sick, I did charge it after it went flat but its now sounding very short of charge again, my alternator is working fine as I have 14.8 volts when the car is running.

I am running a large ICE setup and have a split charge system, the battery in the boot is a deep charge marine type and has lost no charge at all, I did check the cells on the OEM battery and one of them is buckled, so time for a new battery I think. Any of you chaps know of a decent battery that will stand the rigours of a decent ICE system and winter dirving.
