Default Driving light conversion mounts

As I'm not prepared to buy the light conversion from Subaru I intend making my own. Does anyone have pictures or dimension of the lamp mounts as would be fitted to a MY2000 Classic?

Thanks.

Won't it depend on what lights you intend using?

The basic bracket will be the same just the hole/holes to attach the lamp will alter.

Agreed...........sort of. It'll work unless you decide on the Hella 1000FF HID ones, (which are probably the best out there anyway).

Why not just remove the foglights and take hole positions from their fittings?Remembering that they are handed?

Question

Job looks a good'un.......are you a welder?

I'd think that moving the mount as you have done, would cure most of the inherent vibration problem suffered by large lights mounted near their bases?

Did you think of getting them made in stainless, or even alloy?

Cheers Alcazar,Used to do alot of fabbing and welding when i worked on a farm and still do the odd bit now although retired from the farming lark, they were a bit of a quicky at the time but have done the job fine and look ok,my mate who blasted them said he'd make a copy in stainless but not bothered as in black you dont really see them behind the lights.Far better design than some of the pro conversions as well i reckon.
