Does UK Spec STi (Bugeye) Have A Dash Light Dimmer?
Hi,
I've just ordered a JDM V8 STi instrument cluster for my JDM V7 STi. I was looking through some articles and wiring diagrams in prep for the install, and noticed that a lot of V7 WRX's (mainly in the US) have a dimmer control on the light stalk (spelling?), as do the STi's. However my 2001 JDM V7 STi does not have a dimmer.
Now for what I want to know, does the UK V7 STi have a dimmer?
Does the UK V8 STi have a dimmer?
If they do, does anyone have any info on the resistance value (and current rating) of the dimmer? It's basically a potentiometer.

The left stalk has a switch built into it, twist clockwise for bright, twist anti clockwise for dim. So it's a dimmer but not a proper adjustable dimmer.
Sorry no idea what ohmage or current rating the resistor is that makes it work.
