Dial kits
Has anyone fitted these before and if so could a step by step be shared. I would like to evaluate how easy it is for someone like myself with no clue to fit these gauges as shown below.
I can weigh up then whether to have a crack or pay someone else. Also are there any problems you tend to come up with fitting these?
There going on a 94 wrx import
Thanks

i agree......ive done it on my my93wrx...and it took me 4 attempts....do a search uptop for dial kits/lockwood dials/white dials etc etc.
all i did was follow the instructions given but be very careful with the needles.
only do the following on the mph and rev needles.
get 2 teaspoons turn them upsidedown so curves on bottom then place under needles and roll up so needles lift out.be very gentle.
when you come to doing the fuel and temp needles you cant use the teaspoons as the needles are fixed permenently, you have to cut the dials off, now, some instructions say cut them but i say **** that cos thats were i went wrong.
get yaself some brand new stanley blades and just cut them out slicing hard but gently(if that makes sense) not to move the dial too much as they are very thin any sudden movement can snap these.be very patient as this can take a while.
hope this helps you a bit, good luck.
