.....I have a uk MY96 wagon and, like many others on here, think that the headlights are crap.

I'd love to have a set of morettes but not able to avoid them at present, so, what bulbs can I change to until I can afford morettes?

Currently running with some blue phillips bulbs but still not good driving lights even on high beam.

All suggestions welcomed.

Fit a set of General Electric +60% bulbs, available from Macs Garage, Ilkley and you will see a big improvement. Set your headlights up at the same time.

The Halfrauds 'Rally' 80/100w bulbs are pretty good. Box says for off road use only

Been using them in a JDM MY94 Wagon for a few months now without any problems. They were even better when the beams were set up correctly after the MOT!!

What, you mean after YOU set 'em up properly after the MoT guy fekked the settings up?

Never had an MoT guy do anything but damage to my settings, last time he wound 'em down so far they were both on the road on MAIN BEAM
