hi all

i need help 95 import.

1st do thay need to be working for an mot (mine dont).

2nd ive hurd that people have problems with these. relays and so on.

if i push the switch on the dash i can here relays working but the front fog lights will not come on. and also when the switch is on the speedo lights come on (strange i no).

have you had this problem and how did you fix it.

has something been unpluged for import reasons. is it an earth problem.

i dont no please help.

See MOT manual.

Section 1.1 says:

"Any additional position lamps are optional and are not included in the inspection."

So no worries, you'll be fine.

before i got the scooby i sore two others with the same problem.

it's not a problem, your side lights come on too. Sometimes the fog's too thick for headlights and you can see better on sides and fogs.

You sure they're not wired as driving lights?

AFAIK the fogs won't come on unless the sides(and or headlights) are on too.

They're bloody useless anyway...............

I think you'll find that on at least some of the imports, pressing the fog light switch turns the side lights on as well - thats why the speedo lights up. It did this on my 94 WRX, not sure about the current one. As you say, not much use anyway - replace them with some spot lights!
