Please let me know if you have had a battery replaced on your Impreza under warranty.

Please reply .... Model Year WRX or STI) and Qty (if more than one).

Please reply as I will be speaking to a Subaru Tech Specialist on why Impreza's fry their batteries this week and would like some idea how many of us have been effected.

I had my battery replaced under warrenty within the first year of my 01 UK300. It seems the alarm/immobilisor drains alot of power from the battery. Apparenty BMW's have a similar problem. Just the one replaced for me

Mine went too in May (MY04 STi) and Simpsons of Swindon replaced it under warranty straight away. I reckon it was the alarm as we were away watching Petter in Cyprus at the time and the car sat idle.
