Cool PIAA xtreme bulbs

Has anyone tried or currently running these high wattage bulbs.
I'm thinking of getting the HB3 main (120w but only draws 60w) for my '03 WRX. I remember some threads a while back saying they were'nt worth it and they kept on blowing . I was just wondering if they had improved.

Also any opinions of the PIAA Prodrive driving lamp kit? seems expensive but are they worth it.

Nick.

I was advised not to go for the 120w bulbs in my MY03 as they have been known to melt the headlamp lenses if on for long periods of time.
I instead bought PIAA 100w bulbs from a Subaru specialist, had them over a year now (30,000+ miles) and they've been fine.

The PIAA lamp kit is definately a fantastic mod, I just couldn't justify the price.
