I fitted a shift lamp to my scooby but its only a lamp and i fancy adding a audio device like a buzzer but from what i remember at school (years ago) a buzzer makes a "buzzz" sound but i want a "beep" cuz a "buzz" will get on my ****.

iv look at maplins http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?...=3213&doy=22m5 and this what I used at school years ago and they are go "buzz".

Can you recommend me a "beeper" if there is such a thing please.

Can't recommend a beeper in particular but have a sniff around Maplin's 'Sounders' page. You might easily find what you need just by reading the specs but if not I'm sure you could ring them up and explain what you're after.

Buzzer, beeper, same thing really. What you want is an electronic sounder with a frequency of about 1000Hz (1kHz).

Maplins, RS components, Rapid Electronics all do 'em. I put one on wife's Sierra years ago to warn of lights left on.

you dont buzz, you scream
