OBD-II MY98 Select Monitor Port
I had my PSI3 SECS monito plugged intom my MY99 RB5 no problem. I've now got a MY98 STi and having just taken off the cover under the steering column theres no wires going into the OBD-II port.
Is this right? The wiring has been jiggeled about a bit as he's put a fog light & switch in but nothing too serious.
If it's not right can anyone give me the wire colour/position in the port so I can get this going - at least so my local specialist can plug in the select monitor to do any checks.
Cheers.

If your MY98 STi is a V4 then it uses a completely different ECU to the V5 (MY99) and even though there is a OBD-II socket under the dash it still uses the early Subaru Select Protocol.

Thanks for that Andrew - had a sneaky suspicion it wouldn't work.
You don't have a guide as to which colour wires go into each of the 16 pins in the select monitor block do you?
Looks cool BTW.
Thanks.
