AFR Power (where from) and Lambda input

I'm installing a home made AFR gauge into my sport. I was wondering where you have taken the power from to run it and, how you have connected the lambda input, either scotch locked or soldered.

Back of the cig lighter is a good source for power.
I soldered the connections to get the best signal.
