classic MY00.. and my lighting options are:
Hi.
Whats the brightest legal bulb I can put in the main headlight on my car?
Currently using Osram Silver star H4's in OE headlights..
How much brighter are Morette's? Are they functionally worth the change?
I have PIAA's but I need to address the front of the car as they no longer look balanced on the front due to an FMIC and number plate relocation..
Any other 'driving light' alternatives that dont cost the earth- but provide *at least* as much, if not more light than the PIAA's?

Morettes: No BRIGHTER, as use same legal bulbs, but put the light where it should be and not all over on both dip and main, PLUS they have a pair of extra lamps that come on for main beam, so doubling the output on main.
Worth £300? I thought so, many don't.
Not sure what you mean about balanced? Mine has the lower grille clear and the number plate relocated onto the lip spoiler (TSL), and I have Hella HID's, 1000FF, same size as PIAAS, and I think mine looks good.

thanks.
I dont have a lip spoiler.
my plate is mounted like P20Spd's
You do know plod can pull you for that plate? I was looking at a similar solution -via MRO.. but the feds on 5-0 asssured me that if it's a 'stick on' plate it IS illegal and you will probably get stopped for it...
Is yours a sticker? or 'real' plate at legal size?
maybe I just need a lip spoiler as it look very good on yours
pretty certain its my plate that spoils the front end..
I'm 2nd from right.

No, mine's a proper legal plate, attached with double sided stickies to the lip spoiler, where there is a purpose made space for it. You could use screws too, but I think they spoil a plate, and they rust unless you get stainless ones.
The spoiler was from TSL, fit like a dream, almost held itself on. It now has 4 stainless screws, and a line of black Cica-Flex to help it stay on:
Cost me about £100 plus £40 to spray it red.
I agree with you...........your plate spoils yours, somehow the front ends up looking like a bow??????

was defo good price for paint though.. that via TSL too?

Will look into it.

Have had a look at their site, but can't see it listed now. It was one that Paul (Trouser) showed me when I was there for something else, (he's good at that: ).
If you ring them and ask about the one in GRP which you can fit a number plate to, they'll put you right.
Painting was by a local guy near me.

I can assure you, the space is exactly the right size for a legal plate, for some reason, this customer chose to fit a smaller one in the gap.
Got one in stock too

Forgot to add, the air dam you bought from TSL was designed and made by us, we used to supply them, but now just sell direct to the customer.
We can supply colour coded also.
Thanks, Rob (MRO)
