Help with Morettes
I have 2 problems with my set of 2nd hand Morettes I have just fitted on my 2000 Impreza STi (classic shape)
1) How do you adjust them?? I have tried fiddling with the 2 plastic butterfly nuts at the top but to no avail?? They are shining on the treetop and worst are the inner spotlights
2) Anyone has the part numbers for the CIBIE lights?? the glass is so badly pitted from stone chips that they have become opaque.
Thanks in advance

It's certainly the plastic nuts you mention that do the adjustment. Sorry, I can't remember which way to turn them but if you shine the lights on a wall and twist one nut in the same direction a few turns, you'll be able to see which way it goes.
Dunno about part numbers, but Demon Tweeks sell them among others.

Right, just been out to look at mine in the cold and dark and rain, in my paper cloak:
The inner ones have 0490047 on the glass as well as 8001 on the other side.
Apart from that, the only other marks are E marks.
Is the large screw/bolt the one that replaces the self-leveller?
When I did mine especially the inners, I found it benificial to press the lower part of the unit inwards, while winding the adjustment screw in the correct direction, then fine tuned it on a carpark. Took fekkin ages, but is worth it in the end.
If neither of the numbers I gave you are any good, I suggest taking one off and showing the Cibie dealer it, or asking DT how much to ship to SA?
