Can anyone tell me what this part is called (or where to get a cheap one)? My horn isn't working and i have an airbag light on (classic my99) and i've been told that there is a rotary contact switch in the steering column that is probably up the spout.
There is no prize for this but can anyone name that part???

i had same problem and dint know the name ither.
Think i got mine mail order from one of the breakers, not sure of the company but i'm sure they'll all be familiar with the part in question. paid bout £25.

ps: take the airbag fuse outa the fuse box before starting the job and dont replace till you finished installing, just takes the risk out of setting it off in ya face

No smugness from me. One of the members of subaruforester.com from singapore had his come loose and they (IM equivalents) wanted to change the whole airbag module at 600quid a go .....
