I have an STi5 and the head unit has been removed. Unfortunately all the wires were snipped rather than the loom connector plug being left in.

I need to put a kenwood mask in there, but dont know any of the wiring colours from the Subaru loom. I have the Kenwood ones from the manual.

Once I do know how to wire it, whats the best way? The Kenwood has the Jap convertor plug attatched so I could wire that straight to the Subaru loom so it will then have a plug on the end.

Also, the cage for the original double DIN unit has gone. Its the one that screws into the sides of the dash.

I cant fit the Kenwood without it I dont think. Where can I get a new cage?

Quick answer might be to ask your local ICE fitters.

You can get the bits of Subaru for single DIN conversions, I think.

All sorted. Got a wiring diagram and used bullet connectors to wire to the Kenwood plug. Now just have to get an original double din cage to fit into the gap, then I can bolt the Kenwood in....
