Side lights
My dad has just bought a set of Morette style headlamps (note, not real) for the bugeye subaru and they were cheap from america (2nd note, US rules are different to ours). The indicator flashes white so I need to get an orange bulb but the sidelights share a bulb with the indicators meaning that there will be no sidelight. I will post a picture, does anyone know how I can get round this problem??

I think you should maybe try and re-sell them cause you also need to think about two other things.
Are the lights E-marked to comply with UK law and is the dip beam pattern set for right hand drive vehicles?
Wouldn't imagine you would be able to convert for UK use.
Not saying what you need can't be done, just a thought that came into my head.

I think it would need to be an eagle eye for an MOT tester to check for e-mark on lights anyway but was only making you aware that there was this possibility.
Going back to the original question Adam, sorry but can't help you, maybe others can?

Have you thought about inserting a side light into the lights?
It would mean cutting a small hole in the new light, and inserting the existing side lightholder into said hole.
This way you keep the original switch.
Mike
PS Sorry if its not too clear, easier to do than explain.
