If your fuse has gone (no.4) then the intercooler spray shouldn't work.
Give the spray button a press - can you hear the spray motor going in the boot?
If this doesn't pump then most likely the fuse. It should be behind little flip top draw to bottom right of dash, near the bonnet release.
If you flip the lid down and twist, the draw will come out and behind is the bank of fuses. You need the 20AMp one, labelled as No.4

Cheers for that I'll check out the water spray- I didn't think I had a fuse box below the dash - the flip down thing has a keypad for the alarm...? I'll try the twisting thing to see if there is anything behind it.

Richard,
Assuming you have checked all the fuses... i would put money on the power lead coming off the back of the lighter itself.
Had the exact same thing with mine. For some reason on my 98 Terzo the plastic protective cover over the spade connector would not clip into place properly on the lighter... hence falling off all the time. I pulled the plastic shroud off, the spade connecter now clicks into place nicely. Just make sure you wrap the exposed metal connector with insulation tape before you put it all back together.
Depending on which MY you have, i can give you some instructions on how to remove the console and get to the cig lighter if you need them.
Cheers
Chris

Fixed mine today! on the back of the Cigarette Lighter there's a nut that goes on the other end of the center terminal. the spade connector that fit's on to the male spade is part of a brass washer thing that goes round the center terminal and it wasn't touching the the dam thing! so no live feed to the center pin. Made the connection with some wire and it now works!
i bet thats as clear as mud lol
