Question

I've recently swapped my jap console to a UK spec one in order to fit my new Kenwood car stereo head unit. The UK spec console as you know has a clock instead of a cup holder. The clock, comes with a 5 pin plug which unfortunately does not exist in the loom of my 94'WRX STi.

Does anybody have any idea of what those 5 wires are used for ?

My assumption is:

1) Ground
2) permanent +ve
3) ignition switch +ve
4) lights switch +ve
5) ???

Unfortunatelly, I don't even know the colour coding of the wires. I would be grateful to anybody who can give me some info on the actual clock wiring or point me to the right direction.

BTW, what is the functionality of the bright switch next to the clock ? Is it only used to make the clock illumination brighter or is it used for the whole console ?

Thank you in advance,

Alex.
