Red face

Hey,

I have a standard MY00, with a standard Sigma alarm and immoboliser. The car aint starting, and the "Check Engine" light flashes. The manual states that its a immoboliser problem.

HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM? IF SO WHAT IS THE FIX?

FROM A NEW SCOOBY OWNER (ONLY 2HRS!!)

Talking

Put the Key in and turn the ignition to the on position, all dash lights on. The press the button on the alarm fob. Now try starting it.

Andy

Tried that already, still dont work.....

Any other ideas?....do you think that it could be a problem with the fob for the immoboliser?

thanks for your reply

have you tried the key for the car because the check engine light is not wired to the sigma alarm system which i think is installed at quedgly.
when you try to start the car the light flashes which could indicate a problem with the transponder inside the key. swap keys and see.
