Have very bad starting problem - only just fires up. Car is 2.5 yrs old and i was wondering if the battery is covered on the warranty? Have looked in the book but as usual it is not that prescriptive just says all electrical components. Wondered if anyone had had the same problem?

I've got an MY99 UK Scoob and dealer changed mine under warranty on Friday there.
If my car was left unattended for 2 days it wouldn't start, dealer checked with hydrometer and cells should poor result so he claimed for a new battery for me, so should be covered.

Well pleased, dealer replaced no questions asked!
Just goes to show the old JD power survey is spot on. Great after care service as well as a great car to begin with!
