Red face

cmon, i cant be the only person irritated by this?

if you're rubbish at parrallel parking like i am, i always take my seatbelt off to do it. it invariably takes me about 10 mins moving backwards and forwards to get into the space, all the while the bloody seatbelt alarm is screaming in my ear!!!

i wouldnt mind if it just screamed at me over 5mph or something because i dont drive without one.

don't think you'll be able to pull a fuse to stop it ,the car with more than likely have a body ecu that its linked into.

You'll just have to speed up your parking.

mine goes off now and again ,first time it went of I wondered what the hell was going on....

yeh it only comes on at 15mph, so for parking it won't be a problem, unless you park really fast!!!

Thumbs up

i agree it is annoying because once its latched on at 15 mph it doesnt stop 'ding..ding..dinging' even when youve stopped which can be irritating if youve just moved the car a short distance i.e supermarket car park to fuel station within the same car park area..but having said that its good safety reminder and maybe it should be fitted to all four seats.........

It does my head in at the M6 toll.

Wait till you drive a volvo - if you dont put your belt on you get bing.. bing... bing, if you still dont put it on after 10 secs I think it is it gets louder BING, BING, BING. Still dont put it on it disables the radio!!!

There is a sensor in the back seat too that will detect if they aint got theirs on too.
