Question

Does anybody know if you can get them anywhere? I've read that STi's have them, are their mirrors different, or can you get the glass for them?

The Forester's wing mirrors are heated and are a direct replacement.

Speak to your dealer he should confirm this.

Unhappy

Can confirm they are NOT heated on my STi5 - actually it is one toy that is very useful & I'll miss not having it (after all wind chill is a real problem above 100mph)

Paul

the bit about speeding is a joke OK ?

Can somebody tell me the part number that I would need in order to just order the side mirror with the defroster? I am in the US and the dealers here won't help me and say that I can't swap them. Is this only a swappable item on the UK cars? Thanks

To the top...

Just wondering if anyone has investigated this any further. I've just confirmed that my STiV doesn't have heated mirrors, and I'd really like to have them.

Thumbs up

Jeremy

My newest tip:
Clean & coat the mirrors in Rainex - minimises the moisture build up prior to frosting not perfect but it helps (also excellent on these misty autumn mornings).
