Default Scooby Monitor

Im trying to get the parts to build a Scooby Monitor

But cant seem to find these 3 parts
PCB/ Dontronics Dt107 (cant find anywhere in uk)
Controller/ Atmel ATmega8 (discontinued at farnell)Part no/ ATmega8-16-PC
LCD 2x16 LCD (discontinued at maplins)Part no/ RM88V

Someone must have built one of these recently any help would be great

I *think* that you could replace the LCD monitor with this one from maplin's: VX24B

Basically, looking at the pin-outs etc it looks like it's an LCD controlled by a HD44780 chipset, so any LCD with that chipset would work, probably even a 2x20 or similar.
