Default cant get rear light out, ahhhhhhh

Any one got any sugestions on how to get the bloody rear light out of my MY96WRX.I am putting STI ones in.Have done offside ok,took a bit of time. Now trying the nearside and it is bonded with so much sealant i cant budge it,it wont even move. Also found one bulb holder does not fit,do i need a different type of holder.

Hair dryer or heat gun to warm up the sealant.

Take one hair dryer and heat the whole area for 5 minutes or more. This will soften the sealant and they'll pop right out

sorta leaverd them out and pulled on them where possible, i also refitted the nuts and hammerd the threads a bit to help break the seal, i also rember a bit screwdrivering to help snap the seal in places

total nitemare
i then coverd the black stuff in masking tape both on the car and on the lights to stop them sticking then refitted them loosely (is that a real word?) and drove to the bodyshop where they could remove them easy enough

You may want to seal them in with silicone sealer now Rear lights tend to leak after that sticky **** has been broken
