sti rears on uk car, fog? [again]

I had a look through what other people did to solve this problem and looks like i can just get away with drilling a hole so my existing fog bulb goes through the back, any reason I shouldnt be doing this, will this pass an MOT and also work well in fog?

Its not so much drilling a whole into the actual light
When you turn the sti rears around, there is a compartment which is empty. You can put the fog light into this
All it does is make the fog light part of the cluister
STI light group buy is happening and we should get the goods in by the end of the week. I will then put up some pics how this can be done
