Who sells the PIAA driving lamp kits SPECIFICALLY for the MY03 (I pressume it's different fit for MY01/02)?
Are the ones I want the PIAA 80XT series, ie. 120W, and come in three flavours (driving lamp, spot lamp, fog lamp)? What about the 80Pro, and are there any which are more powerful from PIAA (but not silly money, i.e. not greater than £300)?
I've already got HID main lights (Jap STi), just want some powerful driving lights for when I'm on country lanes at night.
Thanks

You did, but there is no definitive answer from your thread. The only thing that came out of it was the fact that Prodrive will be doing a kit, but it's not available.
I'm asking if there are any other retailers out there that do MY03 PIAA non-HID driving light kits for the MY03.
Thanks

I have been making enquiries and the news I have learned on good authority is:-
1. Release date for the Prodrive driving lamps conversion is supposed to be 1st March
2. Lense diameter will be the same as the current fog lights and therefore, are not expected to perform like the ProXTs pencil jobbies? Prodrive seem to have gone more for aesthetics rather than functionality if that's a word. This is consistent with the pictures of the latest WR1 model seen here?
3. Didn't get a price but the old version was £240 excl fitting which is another £70 odd so round that a up a bit more for the Prodrive kit I would guess.
4. For STI8 owners, you will have to purchase additional colour coded "blanks" to fill the gap behind the front STI covers and around the prodrive lights as once the fogs or prodrive lights are fitted, you can't refit the STI covers!
This is not what I was hoping for and it seems they will be nothing like the ProXTs in terms of performance so I have the fogs retrofitted to my STI and have PIAA "Extreme white" bulbs fitted to the headlamps which are the best legal option bar the full HID conversion of course.
Hope this is of use.
