Ive just bought a sti v4 momo steering wheel and the connections on the back of the airbag are different? still, 2 wires but different connector...im wanting to know if the wiring is different in any way from MY95 to MY97-98.

Yes, and the airbags have different resistance values, so it will take a lot of work to get the seatbelt light to go out, best of luck!!

Try doing a search first.I know there is one because I found it when I did my (my95 to sti v5) steering wheel, also had no problems with the airbag light going out,but I think you will need the clock spinner that matches the steering wheel, I did.
When doing the job just remember to disconect the battery for about an hour BEFORE you start and be brave?

I did this the wires are different colours but orientation is not important. Like said above leave battery disconnected for an hour or so and then stamp on the brake pedal a few times first to make 100% sure. I cut the connector of my old wheel and soldered onto the new one.
