I have a few lights which aren't working and need some help.
Both reading lights are out, backlight for heated rear screen, and the mirror adjust / elec folding mirror just up from the hand brake. (STi4)
They're not all linked to the same fuse are they? How easy are they to replace?
On another note, to backlight a guage, most suggest the purple fog light wire. My purple wire goes into a non backlit retro fit fog switch. Will that work as a backlight if I tap into it? Guess I could test with a multimeter.

On both my cars (MY98 then 00) there's been a spare instrument light connector behind the radio taking standard spade connectors.
