Driving along the motorway today minding my own business when I see a large low flying object fall off a damn truck break up and it is heading straight for me! Nothing i can do but wait for impact as another car is next to me. OUCH!!

Anyone else seem to be a magnet for this? I hate those uncovered trucks!

Anyone know where i can get some new lenses for my morette headlight on my bugeye wrx, theres a bit of cosmetic damage but i think i can touch that up. Phoned the dealer and they said its about £150 each lense! Sounds a bit excessive!

Had lens broken by a stone. Quoted £86+vat for new lens from dealer in midlands, but have been waiting 3 weeks so far, as apparently is a supply problem. £150 appears to be taking the p***

Crap joke i know, thanks i will call them and put that price to the dealer see what they say. That was fitted though, how easy/difficult are these things to change? I bought some silver indicator bulbs to replace the standard orange ones, but after a quick look decided i would have to remove the unit to fit tha stupid things.

Blitz boy did the same on the smacs tour of the evo triangle, he got a replacement from Grade A subaru for £40.

You should have made a note of reg or if a company lorry with a number on in phoned them. Mate of mine had headlights and stone chips off a lorry after pulling out of building site. He complained to the company and then got his insurance company on the job

I've replaced the same lens twice so far in 18 months.

They are vwery good and about £85 a lens.
