Hello all new member to the forum have been looking aroung and there is some very helpfull info on here so keep up all the good work everybody.
I have a 1996 WRX Import and want to use a Original U.K. Rear fog light switch with a third party fog light , The current setup is there 3 wires going to the switch 1 Illumination 1 Earth and 1 Switch. Upon looking on the back of the U.K. Switch I have noticed there are 6 pins protruding how I know what wires I have to connect where? Thank you for any help.

What I did was connect the illuminate from the other switches to 2 & 4. The rear fog light gets power from the tail lights and connects to pin 1 then earths thru pin 5.

This way the rear fog only comes on when you have lights on.

Hi Ken just been trying to wire the rear fog light and switch up but i'm having a few problems. The switch in the front illuminates on and off but the fog light on the rear of the car stays on. Any Ideas on what might be wrong?. I have connected the illuminate from the front fog light switch to pins 2&4 and i linked a wire from the + of the Rear lights to the + on the fog light switch then connected it to pin 1. Then connected a earth from the body of the car to pin 5 then run the cable down to the - of the fog light switch.
