o.k guys I have what might be a problem with the lighting on m car MY93 WRX. Baiailly I have Lamco gauges installed and the volt metre holds a steady 14 volts when driving about . However switch on an indicator and watch the volt metre needle pulse between 12.5 and 14 volts - in time with the flashing of the lights ?? Is this normal or have I got a problem ?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thumbs up

Sounds pretty normal to me. Inside the flasher unit is a little coil causing it to flash, and this will draw a current as well as the flashers themselves.
Have you noticed a change in the voltage when you switch anything else on and off?
