Remote/electric boot release
#1
Just seen a kit for about £12 + vat sounds really cheap......Anybody had any experience of fitting these to the scoob ? Here plan to hook it upto one of the channels on my clifford.

My local fitter used to offer a similar bit of kit. Trouble was it invalidated the Cat 1 status of the alarm - and it looks like the one you found does the same thing unfortunately.

Doesn't the Clifford have a boot release option, mine has.
All you need to do is run a wire from the right connector and connect it to a 2nd hand central locking motor attached to the cable of the boot release. Then set the clifford channel up to give a pulse, when pressed.

Mine's a really old clifford but you can set it for a pulsed output if I remember correctly. I have got a couple of central door locking actuators knocking around actually I will have a think.
