I replaced it last week then noticed last nite its gone again (dunno how long for )
I've stuck a 25amp in to get to work.
Is it likely to be because I've got my amp earthed on the same point as the brake lights??

Earthing point shouldn't make any difference.
What else is on that fuse? On mine, there's nothing.
If it continues to go, I'd be inclined to get it checked out........................and don't go too long with a larger fuse in place: there lies the road to a car-fire!!!!!

This happened on my MY97WRX, the horns stopped working at the same time. One of the air horns was shorted so every time I "told someone to get outa my way!!" the brakes lights failed.
