turbo timer + alarm control
#1
Hey all
How would you wire up the car so that the alarm doesn't switch on until the turbo timer finishes it's countdown? At the moment my friends alarm keeps freaking out (thinks the car's being stolen) if he switches it on while the turbo is cooling.
So he has to stand around waiting for it to switch off before alarming the car.
Any ideas?

Some alarms have an auto arming option after a minute or 2, if there isn't that option then things are more tricky. I have the same problem and the only idea I came up with was fitting a delay into the alarm system. I imagine this is going to be very hard to do unless you are into electronics which I am unfortunately NOT. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, if you come up with anything I will be very interested.
