Running 2 Chips?????
#1
I am thinking about this....
I have a Mines ECU in a WRX RA. It runs a fixed boost pressure of around 0.9bar. I take it the ecu will slightly increase fueling and maybe adjust ignition timing, but none of this is adjustabe....
With me so far?
So what is stopping you fitting the Superchips "Cheat" device, otherwise known as an "ABC Board". I understand it fools the map sensor, allowing you to up the boost to up to 1.4bar. All very good fun, but the device does not account for the increased fuel needed to run such pressure.
So my point....
Why not run the "ABC Board" with the Mines ECU at around 1.1-1.2bar.
The Mines ECU is designed to up the boost, and with the "ABC board" i can take it up a bit more, no?
It has to be an improvement on simply slapping an ABC board on a standard ECU?
Your thoughts please guys....
