Yes - thats what I want! Will make a change from the yellow!
Gasoline Alley (C.A.R.) stores said they will be getting some in in the new year - so will get a pair then. Hopefully make the car look unlike a nissan bluebird at night!

Be aware that LEDs are significantly more directional than normal bulbs: As your reflector will be rendered almost useless, you may end up with a big white spot on the front of your side-light lenses!!

i fitted these to my car on friday they went back to the shop today complete crap trust me
go to a motorcycle shop and get some 22w bulbs a bit bigger than standard but a hell of a lot brighter

i brought somw blue ones from speedingcar and they were excellent made my entire headlight go police light blue but now one has packed up completely and two led's have gone on the the other side.

i dont know if halfords will do these but i got mine from a motor cycle shop i had the wiring checked its ok for the bigger wattage bulbs dont know if they will run to hot but mine seem to be ok and a hell of a lot brighter

LED's run cold. They don't use an incandescent filament like a bulb, they are a light emitting diode.

I just bought some brigher sidelights - 16W instead of the usual 5W from Halfords (code is 955) - they are much brighter than the standards, and a step in the right direction, but still look fairly yellow. I guess I'll have to see at night how much the difference is. They cost about £2.79 each.
Also, the 21W versions had a bigger base and I doubt the head would have gotten through the lens housing.
