Can someone give me some hints for dest alignment of driving lights on MY02 ?
Should I be seeing them light up the road or do they need to be pointing higher for longer distance ?
Thanks
T.
BTW. WRSport Hellas.
Whenever I've done this sort of thing, I've usually started with them pointed at a wall, about 50 feet away, a deserted, level supermarket carpark etc is a good bet. Set them so they are about eqal to your main beams. Then find a long straight, level, deserted road, put them on one at a time, or cover the other one, cover the headlights so you can only see the light from the driving light under consideration, and tweak it until you have the best, brightest view of the road ahead. Repeat with the other, take it for a test run ,and all should be OK.
With driving lights on a Scoob, the only problem is the relatively low mounting position of the lights, which gives less throw, but more illumination in front of the car. With my Scoobysport HID's they throw any unevenness in the road into sharp relief, which can be useful once you've got used to it.
Like most things lighting related, the whole thing is a bit "suck it and see".
Hope this is of help.

The best way to line the things up iws to go to Tesco's car park late at night, park up dead parallell in a space & use the empty spaces in from of u to align the beam! Did it last week & not a single person batted an eyelid!! I would of thought that takin ya tools to a scooby in a dark carpark would have attracted atleast a glance!
I took my car to a local MOT centre and used their beam alignment equipment. Only takes a few minutes and it didn't cost me anything either. Its worth doing it properly. It's made a helluva difference.
