I'm fedup of fumbling for switches in the dark.
Can anyone tell me how many, or if any of the electric window switches should be illuminated when I've got my lights on?
Also, should the heated rear screen switch be illuminated?
Finally, how does the drivers door trim come off? There's a tapping noise behind the window switches that I'd like to investigate.
Thanks in advance
Neil (wishing there was a Haynes manual for the Impreza)

To get the door cards off, remove the bit round the door handle. You have to put a screwdriver in the top to push down the little lip thing. Once that is done, there is a screw in the door pull that needs undoing. The rest is on poppers which should just come out with a tug.

PS MY97 and none of my switches light up either. What do you wanna open the windows at night for when it's all dark and wet?
