It was a bit foggy on my way to work this morning, so I turned on the front foglamps. They were useful in that they illuminated the 5cm in front of the car, but nowt else. How do I adjust them (my02)

Cheers, Colin.

Fog lamps are so that you can be seen, not so that you can see.
They are not driving lights. If you want to light up in front of you buy driving lights. But they don't work in fog.

cheers

There are adjusters on them, and, as far as I can remember, they're a pale coloured plastic screw thingy, at the top on one side of the lamps.
NOT a bolt head, those just release the lamps and the indicators.
I didn't have mine long before one broke, so I replaced 'em with HID driving lights......PLUS PROTECTIVE COVERS!!!

Thanks - I'll have a look and try to improve the aim. Foglights do work, if adjusted properly, at least over the narrow fell roads...

Yep, they do. I used to have a pair of Cibie Oscar fogs, crossed over, for seeing round corners when I did a bit of rallying in a Mk1 Esc. Worked a treat.
