MAF sensor box?

Hi!
Just yesterday I inspected the MAF? sensor connector. (I hope it's MAF, just at the point where air filter is connected to inflow pipe )I did that because the machine was once again idleling too high, some 1500rpm. Now I need to know if it's possible to open that black cover of the box. it seems that i have some lose joints in there.
