or rather lack of it.

Although there's a switch to either bright or unbright the clock and LCD displays there's actually no dimmer and I find the display a tad too bright. Anyone had experience of fitting a dimmer (rheostat????) or permanently reducing the brightness?

The bright switch is on the lights/indicator stork now, if that's what you're looking for. In 'dim' position the lcds/clock dim a bit when you turn sidelights on.

Yeah, I know there's a bright switch but it's either bright or normal and just affects the LCD/clock not the instrument panel as a whole.
